The Aqualand series is the world's first professional diving watch with depth
display. Its sensor works efficiently under high pressure. It can detect minute
changes in water pressure and translate them into precise readings. Protected
by rugged steel case, the sensor lies under a specially ducted cover. Water
presses on the sensor without penetrating the timepiece. The tough Aqualand
sea sports series is water resistant to 200 meters. With Promaster's Hyper
Aqualand series, keen divers can keep detailed records of their dives with
the revolutionary Data Transfer System which enables data to be transferred
to a personal computer for hard copy print-out.
Another great invention is the Citizen Eco-drive.
Citizen Eco-Drive is the time keeper of the future. A watch that is powered
by light from any source (both solar and artificial). Light is captured and
converted into energy through the solar panel on the dial and stored in a
secondary battery. This battery never needs to be replaced. The economic use
of light, even minimal light, is the technical marvel that makes Eco-Drive
tick.
This amazing timepiece can function up to fifteen months (depending on models) without any exposure to light thanks to its secondary battery. It stores the electricity generated by light and is free of toxic substances such as mercury and cadmium. And, its quick-start function allows immediate startup on exposure to light.
