The dial is three dimensional and deeply textured for a rich and elegant appearance. The applied numerals rise above the dial. The date hand is curved with a unique sunburst pointer at the end that points to each numerical date. Even the moon phase dial shows the 29 and 1/2 day rotation periods. This dial and the entire watch are beautifully designed.

The watch is water resistant to 100 meters or 330 feet below sea level for unlimited versatility in wear. The gently curved hardened mineral glass crystal is very scratch resistant and is coated with a special non-reflective coating for perfect visibility. The hour and minute hands are luminous.
